Maybe you can try to contact your local law enforcement, and try to see if your finances are ok. I got blackmailed. It was terrible how they threatened to use my personal info. I blocked them and contacted the sherrif's department. I had a talk with an officer and he recommended that I set up an account to check my credit and see how I am doing. Fortunately I am ok, but I am vigilant all the time. I block scammers on facebook, and I never share any information about myself anywhere.

Was this a webcam scammer? These are very dangerous as they want to contact you through hangouts, skype, whatsapp, or other websites which enable video conferencing and capture you on a video call, record you in a compromised position and then threaten to blackmail you.
