Why future fusion was banned
If it weren't for the swarming aspect it'd be okay at one. If Goyo was level nine, it'd be acceptable, but it's not. And Brionac is an OTK enabler and nothing more. Royal Oppresion: Swarm the field then flip Oppression was a horrible format.
Also Six Samurao, Lavals, and Dragunity aren't meta. Why complain about them. Graceful Charity: Dark Worlds get mad plusses from it, sets up the graveyard, and did I mention it'd make Dark Worlds mad stupid? Nothing more. Premature Burial: Searchable and the monster remains on the field when bounced.
Not because it's too strong. They rely on hard drawing Fusion Destiny. And it's definitely too early to worry about if it's even going to be a problem in TCG. It's objectively not as strong of an end card as Dragoon which isn't deeply problematic anyway IMO, just boring to have everywhere , but it is way less bricky than the Dragoon package, so there's a trade off. And as you mentioned in another comment there's precedent to banning things that fuse from deck, which is the dumb mechanic at play anyway.
Ban REF and IF Phoenix Destroy is annoying after it gets the opportunity for a run in the spotlight ban the other fusion card that fuses from the deck. Nothing wrong with a deck being the best but I think it might be a little too good if the hits to the other decks aren't very light.
What kind of dragon hit are you thinking of? Have heard yugitubers suggesting hieratic seals to 1 idk how much that does , curious to hear what else you think would be a good hit quick launch? Ban: - Verte more dm supports coming out, so I expect goon to stay at least one more format. Limited: - Eva. Leave benten at 1 and Eva being at 1 hurts dryton without killing it.
Why not both? I didnt play that format, but don't see why not. I'm kidding. Kind of I feel like unbanning the archetype cards and leaving electrumite to 0 is more beneficial overall.
Electrumite to 1, Astrograph to 1, Servant to 3. Endymion needs some love. I can't even affort Magicians' Souls or CD, at least those ones will be some kind of a boost. Why is electrumtite to 1 and Astrograoh to 1 to dangerous? What op combo do this enable such that it destroys Yugioh? That electrumite can loop Astrograph and gain too much advantage. Even though when they were at 3 that happened. At one, it can theoretically loop twice, but also people especially the TCG have a HATE boner on Pendulums, so these 2 coming out at one will cause people to get triggered.
I could not agree more. It's like "they're too powerful, they can summon 5 monsters every turn", even though now it's even harder considering that I have to do some link plays before pend summoning.
This hate towards Pends seems like a dumb thing. Of course people either threat them like shit or like a joke because of Triff and his obsession. Sad Endymion noises. Maybe either electrumite or astrograph can comeback just like a bone for pendulums, unlikely but could happen.
It's not just people in the TCG. I had a dream about 1 month ago that Shuraig was limited and I just want to know if come October I am a prophet or not. The anti-handtrap menace. With something to check the cockroach, it becomes more tolerable. This is probably the safest window of time they'll ever have to try and bring it back. Also, you might be asking, why 3? Having a card like that at 1 just makes it a degenerate sackfest see IO.
Straight to 3 so it can be just degenerate and not sack. Mystic Mine is a big question mark, I could see it being banned like the OCG , limited to 1, or completely untouched. Bring back Electrumite, Harp Horror if people are worried, make the hits similar to the ocg with girsu at 1. TD isn't doing anything without master peace, Dino has fallen off a cliff with Misc at 1. Benten ban because ursarctic drytron is coming out eventually, and I think it would be very funny if drytron constantly went from really good to getting hit to getting support to getting hit.
Considering Crossout is coming out, I imagine there would be some hit to combo. I'd like it if they just banned double helix and started unlimiting spyral cards, but if they haven't done that by now, I doubt they ever will. Decks that need hit Drytron What makes the deck so strong is not only can they pump out ultimateness they can always fall back on dragoon while fighting off hand traps with orange light.
The card reminds me so much of babel so I feel limiting allows the deck to be easily countered but at The same time 1 might kill the deck so 2 would make the deck less grindy but honestly I'm not sure how to actually hit the deck but not kill it. Sad bujinki ahashima didn't have the power level of its counterparts.
While verte and halq are always talked to be banned. Also, loosen the leash on Red Reboot. Fuck Traps. What would you like to be changed on the next banlist, and why? Wishlists are okay! What do you think is likely to happen, and why?
What would the ramifications be of any of these changes, for your deck and the game in general? Yeah, I was expecting it to go to 1. Not now with that Prismatic rarity. I got 2x prismatics but can only use 1 now per deck. Was the called by limit after that?
I can't remember if it was. Mermaid got a prismatic then was banned in the October ban list. I think verte anaconda deserves a ban by now. Other than that I don't have mich issue with anything else. Tbh i feel like anaconda is a good hit. It hinders creativity with fusion spells in the future. D-Heroes generate only a pop, which is nothing compared to the abomination that is Dragoon. I love how in this entire discourse no one batted an eye to the idea of banning mine I am glad common sense still exists.
It just wastes time. As someone gracefully said in another thread Stop confusing your personalities. Unless there is another FTK that I don't know about, then it's ok 1. It is broken and a terrible card design, but it only makes a tier 3 deck good, it's not like it is a meta card. This time I pressed Caps Lock. In a very inconsistent way, it's five exodia pieces. I think it's fine at 1.
Future Fusion, and your opinion on why it hasn't been or should be banned. Start new topic. Prev 1 2 3 Next Page 1 of 3.
There are some specific material fusions that are actually good, and these will become a lot easier to summon. The main reason people do not want to run this card is that it is now way too easy for your opponent to get this off the field without you getting any sort of benefit out of it. This is very true, since your opponent has a solid two turns to get future fusion off the field. Most decks have enough draw power to pull this off every game. Not to mention, drident is also a thing.
It can pop FF as soon as you activate it. In infernoids, future fusion is basically activate ff, mill all monsters in deck, gg? Using future fusion, you can mill every single infernoid monster in your deck, which is the ultimate grave set-up the deck could ask for. Here they are: each player sends three monsters from the extra deck to the grave, Each player mills three cards, each player returns up to 3 banished cards to the graveyard, and each player sends their entire hand to the graveyard.
Future fusion gives you access to every single infernoid monster in your deck without having to worry about milling them of lawnmowing or raiden. You can pick and choose your graveyard down to every single card in it. Before you go ballistic on me, hear me out. You can use future fusion to send two mezukis, or skull servants that you need. Works like a double foolish burial in the deck. The only problem is that in a deck like shiranuis, the extra deck is cramped.
These kinds of decks may not have the main or extra deck space to run this card. Either way, this card is still very good in a deck skull servants or any other zombie deck.
